Welcome to the CS17 Game Workshop Help Centre. Find information about starting games, using game controls, changing settings and resolving common problems.

🎮 Getting Started

CS17 Game Workshop offers browser-based games that you can play without installing additional software.

  1. Visit the Game Workshop homepage.
  2. Choose the game you want to play.
  3. Click its Play button.
  4. The game opens in a new browser tab.
  5. Follow the instructions displayed inside the game.

Additional games will be added to Game Workshop over time.

🏎️ Night Driver

Night Driver is a nighttime driving game featuring winding roads, tunnels, traffic and customisable driving options.

Starting a Game

  1. Open Night Driver.
  2. Select Options to customise your game.
  3. Choose your preferred driving mode.
  4. Select your steering wheel and audio settings.
  5. Press Start Driving.

Your selected options are saved in your browser for future visits.

⌨️ Night Driver Controls

Use your keyboard to control the car. The game responds to your steering, acceleration and braking.

← / A Steer left
→ / D Steer right
↑ / W Accelerate
↓ / S Brake
P Pause or resume the game
Tip: Steer gradually when approaching a bend. At higher speeds, you will need to react earlier to stay on the road.

⚙️ Game Options

Night Driver includes several settings that allow you to customise your driving experience.

Steering Wheel

Choose from 10 steering wheel designs, including classic, sport, racing, wood, modern, retro, off-road, pink fluffy, carbon and ship wheel.

Background Music

Turn background music on or off, select a song and adjust its volume.

Engine Sound

Enable or disable engine sounds and adjust their volume separately from the music.

The engine changes pitch as the car accelerates or slows down.

Driving Mode

Choose Normal mode for traffic and obstacles, or Free Drive mode for driving without traffic and obstacles.

🛣️ Driving Modes

Normal Mode

Drive through winding roads and tunnels while avoiding traffic and obstacles.

The maximum speed is approximately 350 km/h.

Free Drive Mode

Enjoy the road without traffic or obstacles.

Free Drive increases the maximum speed to approximately 600 km/h.

Free Drive removes traffic and obstacles, but you still need to steer through bends and stay within the road boundaries.

⏸️ Pausing the Game

You can pause Night Driver while playing.

From the Pause screen, you can access Options and adjust your preferred settings.

Resume the game when you are ready to continue driving.

🔊 Music & Sound

Night Driver includes background music and engine sounds.

Modern browsers may prevent audio from playing automatically until you interact with the page.

If you cannot hear any sound:

  1. Check that your device volume is turned up.
  2. Open the game's Options screen.
  3. Make sure music or engine sound is enabled.
  4. Increase the appropriate volume setting.
  5. Press Start Driving to begin playback.

🛠️ Troubleshooting

The game is not loading

Refresh the page and try again. If the problem continues, try an up-to-date version of your browser.

The controls are not responding

Click inside the game window and try the keyboard controls again. Check that the game is not paused.

The game is running slowly

Close unnecessary browser tabs and other demanding applications. Performance may vary depending on your device.

The music is not playing

Check the music settings and device volume. Some browsers require you to press Start Driving before audio playback can begin.

My settings have disappeared

Settings are stored locally in your browser. Clearing browser storage or using a different browser may reset your selections.

Return to Game Workshop and choose a game, or launch Night Driver directly.
